a weaker episode. Kristy doesn't seem to find much funny about some of Pat's "school boy" type comments when it comes to the ladies (i'm thinking the Carla Gugino stuff, which I had to go and watch the video he was talking about…. with the sound turned all the way down mind you.) kyle's gotta get on the ball with the timing cause it kinda took the steam out of the Dirty iPod appearances. I also wasn't really on board with Kristy's definition of a "Power Ballad." I really think of one thing, and one thing only, when it comes to them and that's the slow songs every hair metal band included on their albums in the late 80s so they could get a Top 40 hit. Every one of those bands had at least one on their album and it almost guaranteed a Top 40 single and lots of airplay for the video on MTV. I don't mind out of the box suggestions but her's just really didn't work for me with this topic….. hate to be so critical of this episode. But that's the way I heard it.
Not the best episode, I have to agree I didn't think most of Christy's songs were true "Power ballads".. I do admit I had to pause the show and put on "Keep on loving you" twice while I vacuumed :)

To be fair, even Pat admitted he was being creepy. But I think what made it creepy was that it clearly made Christy uncomfortable and Pat continued. It isn't everyone's sense of humor I don't really think you can hold that against her.
And I really didn't think anything of her's sounded un Power Ballady. NOW that being said I liked this episode because the songs were cheesy and I am of the opinion that:
1) Only Heart should record Power Ballads. Why are you even trying, other bands?
2) Bad Company is horrible and I do not care for that song.

That Bon Jovi song, Always, was played constantly when I was in 7th grade. I had the cd Cross Road, but didn't listen to any other songs. And now, I haven't even thought of the song since then.
Also, I thought Kristy was fine in the episode. I think she was a little perturbed with Pat, but I was expecting worse after reading this thread before listening to the episode.
