As far as the April/DD thing goes, I get it. I bet every one of us has a hole in their fandom that just makes you shrug & say "I dunno...just never clicked". Off the top of my head, I can name The New York Dolls. Don't hate 'em, & my age & taste probably implies that I should love 'em. But they've always just been an "eh" for me.
