i'm one of those rare Who fans who actually really like Face Dances. One of the first cassettes I ever bought. But it's just a great album top to bottom.
I didn't like It's Hard when it was released. But a few years ago I went back to give it another try and I actually think it's pretty good.
yup MS i just finished listening to the episode. I knew they'd touch on Face Dances cause I know Pat has brought it up before that he likes it. I found it funny that Frank Biernut claims to be this massive Who fan but couldn't think of the "Relay" and when Pat finally did Frank didn't seem to know that song. I was shooting out as they were trying to figure out the song "The Relay! The Relay!"
It was a good episode but I can see where you're coming from Tom. Frank is a bit ….dry? I guess is best word I can think of. But he's obviously enthusiastic about the Who and I didn't find him irritating.
