Enjoyed this one a lot. And I wish I could've posted MY favorite version of "A New England" ( by Too Much Joy ), but it's not on YouTube. ( shakes fist as computer )
I really like all of the covers episodes and I hope they keep coming back (especially with all the rotating hosts now.) But I think this one was my favorite April and Pat were on fire with great songs!

I instantly bought these from April's choices: The Beautiful South "Don't Fear The Reaper", Stars "This Charming Man" and Saint Etienne "Only Love Can Break Your Heart." Pretty good episode. I like the Ace Frehley "Sure Baby" gag but A] Kyle's got work on his skills and have that cued up and always ready to go and B] I wish there was clean audio of that with no music…. such a great sound byte.
I always ended up pitching Judas Priest, but I came upon this in the last week, and I already liked Halestorm, but this is excellent. This woman can sing.
They also do a pretty decent Hell is for Children on their new covers EP. Wow, pitching bands much?
I wish I had a copy of the hard rock band I used to be in that covered 16 Tons, but alas that is nowhere to be found. There was a punk band from Portland that would do sets of Britney Spear's songs. Surprised no Alien Ant Farm and Smooth Criminal, but maybe that is too obvious. Me First and the Gimmie Gimmies also too obvious?
I love listening to cover songs. It was a great show!!

I didn't know this was a Dylan song at first but once I found out it was I was shocked I didn't. Cause it's so obviously a Dylan song…. (the album version is a bit more rockin' than this live perf)
