Neat. Nothing cooler than getting to see someone you like in a smaller venue. The first time I saw Marshall Crenshaw live was in a small room with 40-ish other people.
Sounds cool Tom..... I could've gotten to see Karen O (she of the Yeah Yeah Yeahs) this week in NYC in a tiny little place for the release of her first solo album. But I got stuck in Ithaca working until November. Really bummed. Like Mono said it's always cool seeing an artist playing those small intimate shows.....
