I don't live in a huge market, but we're about 1-2 hours from Chicago, Madison, Milwaukee, and the Quad Cities, so our local radio stations get some decent 'gets' for telephone interviews. Ricky has talked to the local rock station's morning jocks on at least a couple of occasions, and always comes off as super friendly and gracious. Listening to this episode really drove that home and introduced me to a lot of good music. It's amazing how he transforms his voice when singing with The Black Star Riders as opposed to his solo work, which also sounds different than his singing with The Almighty. A real overall talent.

It must be kind of fun for him to talk to someone as well prepared and knowledgeable as Pat.
