maybe it's my age, but I'm always amazed at how many folks got into U2 with the Achtung Baby era, as that's when I checked out... until "All that you cant leave behind"
That's kinda where I bailed, too. But I never really came back. No real reason...it's not like I don't like them or anything. Just got into other stuff in the early 90's.
damn that's funny. I checked out after Achtung Baby too.....
I saw them twice on The Joshua Tree tour. They played a week at Meadowlands Arena (then called Brendan Byrne Arena.)
I went to the first show and the last show. Awesome concerts. I haven't seen them since. For me I feel I saw them at their peak and there's no need to again.
But someday I'm sure I will.....
