i'm so behind on episodes I don't know when I'll get around to listening to the year in review one. but I could see your point. she's eccentric and sometimes after awhile what seems "cool" or "cute" starts to become annoying. I don't mind her. To be honest I think of all the new hosts she fit best replacing Gary in her music choices. I find Mike, Murray and even Christy often seem to share a lot of the same music sensibilities with Pat. Whereas April (and Gary before her) brings a lot of those left field things that I like being exposed to. Having said that I still like them all..... but I still won't be listening to that Sammy Hagar episode coming up. Not a chance. Can't do it. He makes me wanna punch my computer whenever I hear him speak his revisionist career history.
not only will I listen to Sammy, I'm attending!!! Not that I'm a huge fan of his, but sketchfest is right near me so I just gotta go!!
As far as April goes, I like her, I think she's funny.. but the quirckiness almost seems forced sometimes (Civil war ghosts?!?!?!!?) and it seems like EVERYTHING is her "jam".
I knew you would be Tom. I remember you are from San Fran area. SketchFest sounds like a great time. Sammy Hagar.... not so much.
But it's good for Pat and the show.
