Easy enough. Van Halen. Perfect example of a band that has a catalog of songs I love (drop Dead Legs, Hot For Teacher, Why Can't This be Love) and a catalog of songs I hate (Jump, Right Now), all of them hits on the radio

Love and Hate: Which bands/artists have the most songs that you love and hate?
Try to think in terms of not just bands that have a bunch of songs you love, and a few obscure ones you hate. That's always going to happen.
I'm thinking of bands where it's much more balanced - where the songs you hate were big hits that you might still hear, and that surprise you.
For me, it's The Rolling Stones. Even after hundreds of listens, I'm almost always in the mood to hear "Paint it Black" and "Sympathy For the Devil", but if I never hear "Angie" or "Waiting on a Friend" again, I'll be happy.
I'll also add Elton John. How could the same guy who wrote "Rocket Man" and "Don't Let the Sun Go Down on Me" also write "Bennie and the Jets" ("Buh-buh-buh Bennnnie... Bennnnie... Bennnnie..." and the equally repetitive "Crocodile Rock"?!
And right now, I dunno who I would pick. The first thing off the top of my head is KISS...but that's more of a deal where there's complete albums that are pretty bad. And they probably shouldn't qualify because the makeup & non-makeup versions were practically 2 different bands.
