what did you guys think of that Kurt C'Bain doc on HBO? I thought it was good but felt like I have to wonder if he really would be happy with his family giving access to his personal diaries, etc for the whole world to see them. I felt a little like I shouldn't be seeing this stuff, this is his personal stuff. I...

So I'm getting married in a bit (and by a bit I mean a year and a half after my future wife finishes getting her Masters degree in painting,) and as such I've been thinking about our First Dance song and all the other various things folks do at weddings. ANYWAY, it got me curious about what other people's fi...

Are there many people here that have gotten into this kind of thing? We're seeing more & more bands & artists use sites like PledgeMusic & Kickstarter to get their music out to the fans. I've gone down this path with a few acts, with varying results. I got on board with Marshall Crenshaw's E...

So what kinda releases are we all looking forward to this year? There's a new Supersuckers record out next week that sounds promising. I also hope Tsar releases a new album this year. I also hope I make it out to more live shows in 2014.

Did anyone participate? I went by my local Mom & Pop store, & it was friggin' NUTS. Line a block long. I might try later...there's only one thing out there I was really interested in.

anybody else host their own College Radio show? Might be a fun topic to delve into…. I went to School of Visual Arts in NYC. We had a tiny tiny ****ty little radio station. How ****ty? it was AM. Stumbled into this topic idea while posting on the off-topic board. Are there any records in your collection that you got for next to nothing?
